Liza & Andy – Our Lady & St Brigids Roman Catholic Church, Northfield & Best Western Westley Hotel, Acocks Green – Friday 4th April 2014

On Friday 4th April 2014 we provided the wedding car for Liza & Andy. They first contacted us via our website www.loveweddingcars.co.uk, they then came to our unit and viewed our cars where they chose our Regent Landaulet In Black & Ivory. Their wedding day was a dry, still and mild day, perfect wedding weather! We undertook 3 journeys to church, firstly taking the Groomsmen, then the Bridesmaids and finally Liza and her Mother. The service at Our Lady & St Brigids Roman Catholic Church in Northfield started at 1:30pm and lasted in the region of an hour, following the service they then had the majority of their photos taken inside the church.

At around 3:30pm we set off for The Best Western Westley Hotel in Acocks Green. Before going into the hotel they had lots of photos with the car alongside their Groomsmen and Bridesmaids. Liza & Andy’s wedding day was a joy to be involved in and we wish them all the very best for the years to come as a married couple.

Gemma & Lee – Lichfield Registry Office & The Boathouse, Sutton Coldfield – Friday 7th March 2014

On Friday 7th March 2014 we provided the wedding car for Gemma & Lee. They first contacted us via our website www.loveweddingcars.co.uk, they then came to our unit and viewed our cars where they chose our Regent Landaulet In Black & Ivory With Wired Wheels. Their wedding day was sunny and reasonably warm, which made a change from the recent wet weather. We picked Gemma and her Father up from Burntwood and made the short journey to Lichfield Registry Office. Following Gemma & Lee’s short ceremony they had lots of photos with friends and family in the superb Beacon Park. We then set of for Sutton Coldfield and The Boathouse Restaurant which is beautifully positioned in the heart of Sutton Park, overlooking Bracebridge Pool. I was so pleased the weather remained good throughout and it was great to be able to drop the roof for the journey through Sutton Park. It was an absolute pleasure to be involved in Gemma & Lee’s wedding day and we wish them all the very best for the future.

Hoar Cross Hall – Wedding Brochure Photo Shoot – Wednesday 29th January 2014

Last week we were involved in the photo shoot for the new Hoar Cross Hall wedding brochure. Hoar Cross Hall is a very impressive venue and I’m sure will have major success in attracting weddings to the venue. It’s a 19th century country mansion Grade II listed building situated near the villages of Hoar Cross and Hamstall Ridware, Staffordshire which is operated as both an hotel and health spa. The brochure will be printed very shortly and they are then hosting a wedding fayre, on Sunday 23rd February. Although it was a very cold wet day it was a pleasure to be involved and we’re very grateful we were made so welcome by Claire and Andrew.

The service lasted in the region of 40 minutes, following the service they had a few photos outside the Church before we set off for Sutton Coldfield and Moxhull Hall. The journey from Aldridge took just over 20 minutes, during which time Maria and Peter enjoyed a couple of glasses of champagne. Moxhull Hall is a truly special place; it’s set in 8 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on the edge of Sutton Coldfield in Wishaw, it’s the perfect venue and is alive with warmth, hospitality and individual style.  We departed Moxhull Hall following a few more photos and left Maria & Peter with our best wishes for a great afternoon/evening and all the very best for the future.

Emma & Philip – St Mary & St Bartholomew Church & Hampton Manor, Hampton in Arden – Friday 10th January 2014

On Friday we undertook our first wedding of 2014, and what a great one to start the year! We provided 3 cars for Emma & Philip who married at St Mary & St Bartholomew Church in Hampton in Arden then celebrated at Hampton Manor, also in Hampton in Arden. Hampton in Arden is a beautiful small village close to Solihull and a wonderful location to get married. Philip enquired after coming across us on the internet; seeing that not only did we have enough cars to transport the large Bridal party we had also undertaken weddings previously at Hampton Manor. The day started at Hampton Manor from where we transported Emma, Emma’s Parents, Emma’s Grandmother, 7 Bridesmaid’s and Emma’s Flower girl to St Mary & St Bartholomew Church. The ceremony lasted in the region of 45 minutes after which, following a few photos, we returned to Hampton Manor, this time with the addition of Philip! Although it was January and on the cold side it was a lovely day with bright sunshine and blue sky through out, we wish Emma & Philip all the best for many years together and thank them for choosing Love Wedding Cars.
